Mel Grandison is an Implementation Lead for IH Magnify. With over 10 years of experience as an instructional coach and curriculum designer, Mel has supported teachers and leaders across K–12 contexts in implementing high-quality, equity-centered instruction. Previously, she served as Director of Residency at Teach Western Mass, where she coached teachers across multiple districts and licensure pathways and built coaching systems grounded in culturally sustaining and anti-racist practice. Earlier in her career, she served as a school administrator in a turnaround district in the Pioneer Valley, overseeing humanities curriculum and instruction across grades 5–8, and as a founding curriculum designer and teacher at a charter school. Mel also independently consults with organizations on equity-centered professional learning and leadership. She holds an M.A. in Spanish from Wichita State University and a Massachusetts teaching license in English (grades 5–8).
