Laura Brenner is an educational leader who believes that high-quality instruction creates opportunities for students to think critically, engage with diverse perspectives, and use their voices within their classrooms and communities. She partners with schools and districts to support educators in translating high-quality curriculum into meaningful, inquiry-based classroom experiences through collaborative professional learning, coaching, and thoughtful implementation.

Laura is a Senior Implementation Lead with IH Magnify, supporting schools and districts with the Investigating History curriculum. Previously, she served as Education Director and then Chief Program Officer at Discovering Justice, where she led the development, strategy, and implementation of K–12 civic education programs and curricula. In this role, she partnered with educators, school leaders, and district administrators across more than 30 Massachusetts school districts and hundreds of schools.

Prior to Discovering Justice, Laura was an elementary teacher and K–8 instructional leader in Boston and served as a principal intern in Cambridge. These experiences continue to shape her collaborative approach to supporting students, educators, and school systems.

Laura has a Master of Science in Education in School Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Arts in Teaching and a Bachelor's degree in psychology from Simmons University.
